I agree, the "old school" could sure teach the "young buck's" trying out all the new stuff. The old school works great and then there are alot of advances that we embrace, but some guys try to make it seem arcanum ( a secret wisely known ). They forget that the advancements came from the "old school"!

A decending device in conjunction with a friction hitch is key when working SRT, but I see no reason to use it DDRT
