I thought about using it today but figured the 372 would get the job done faster,,, I got 3 of the trees limbed already,,, I used my little echo 310 for that light job,,, going to tackle that big elm in the morn,, there will be over a truck load just in the branches,,, guess I will tackle it with the 346 so I can get it done faster,,,, hope to have a few of the logs bucked too then I can start splitting Monday,,, if everything goes right I will have it all done by next weekend
Why would u ever use the 31o if u have a 346 I have one myself and well I need to get rid of it.

Nothing more awkward than wiping yer butt and pull starting a big saw left handed, to me at least. Tore my right bicep 4 years ago and had to learn to use my left flipper more.

Glad you got to enjoy the day, and even more glad yer pics were trees!!!!

Yea best stick to the stuff the 310 can handle quick for awhile. Don't over do it, let that shoulder heal up right.

you got it,,, when I was running the 372 today the weight was in my right hand and guiding with my left so I was not pulling on my left shoulder,,, it really felt good to get out there and run them but I am being very careful

they told me the other day 3 months,,, it feels good so as long as I don't do anything stupid then I should be ok

Three months for routine activities, but running a saw can put sudden, high loads on that shoulder. I've had two rotator cuff repairs and a tendon repair on my elbow. The word is always the same- it takes a year bf you are ok with high strain situations. My good friend also happens to be the PA at the OS that has done all of my work. He knows I like saws and is very straight forward with me on returning to saw activities. I checked with him about your situation and he says in no uncertain terms that you are putting your repair at high risk. He also says that repairs to repairs (revisions, as he called them) have a much higher likelihood of failure and are less likely to be pain-free. Take it easy so you don't have to do it again.

I agree 100% neal,,,, normally I hold the weight of the saw in my left hand but I am holding it with my right,,, it is not easy that way but it keeps the weight of the saw off my left arm,, it is a tad awkward but it works

ok,,,, left shoulder is feeling good,,,, wife was out there several times checking on me and reminding me of what not to do,, sometime I hate being married to a woman that works for the hospital and an EMT,,,,,, I used the cs310 for most of the job and got the 372 back out for the trunks,, the big elm only took me 5 minutes to buck it up,,,, I have 4 more logs to buck up Monday and then the splitting begins,,, Sharon and I are going to finish moving the brush tomorrow,,,, I hope to have everything split,,stacked and cleaned up by next weekend,,,, Sharon works so much it is hard for her to help,,,,,here are a few pics

got these 2 trees bucked up this morn,,, took a whole 15 minutes,,yes I cut them in half so I could pull them out of the woods easier, took down one more tree so that's 6 all together,,, got the 2 smaller ones split and Sharon got them stacked,,almost a rick from those 2,,, dang she knows how to stack,,, I think I will do 1 tree a day to split and stack to keep from hurting myself,,, the next 4 trees are pretty good size,,,,these 2 are 16" and almost 20"

well the 1st load was cherry,, this load is red elm,,, 4 trees done and 2 large cherries to go,,, guess this will make a good firewood truck,,, even with this load it only squatted about 3 inches

Do you need a ladder to get in the truck?
nope,, bumper sets low enough that I don't have to stretch to much,,, the bumper sits lower then my f150,,,, if I had this much weight on my f150 the bumper would be dragging the ground
