Finally the old electric pics

Hey all I finally got some pictures of the old electric saw I have been talking about. Any info about when it would have been used or how let me know.
 
Come on fellas anybody out there seen anything like this. Am thinking about selling it.
 
My somewhat educated guess is that it is an ATKINS. Dates from the late 1930's.
They made tow models and I think you have the smaller one.
 
The smaller one ???? what did thebigger one look like. this Muther weighs 80-90 pds. that is why I respect the fallers that had to work with these and their gas powered brothers because it took a strong sob to work with one of these all day with no antivibration no ear plugs no eye protection no chaps. With something this big technique will only go so far and then its all about brute strength. I am in awe of the likes of Art Martin who not only came through that early era but to pass on some of his vast knowledge to us yungsters.
