Seen my neighbor couple days ago and he had been in Hospital. His 3 main fingers on his left hand had been smashed in a wood splitter. I don't know why it did not cut them off but his fingernails looked like black dead tree bark and end of fingers looked like big red swelled up plumbs. Finger nails were about to fall off.
Looked like wedge had got the joints right at first joint but only broke and crushed the bones and joints. He must have been wearing a glove?
I had a wood splitter cut the thumb end off my glove off once. That was a wake up call.
Big leather glove and thumb glove part was longer than my thumb.
