Drinks get you the extra bush that wasn't in the work order.

Is it just me or what... it seems like the people who have the least $$ are the one's who will treat you the best?

nope i think its the same worldwide(ones with least)ill do a local job for $200 for a battler(someone that works but hasnt got alot)and then the next day do work an hour away for rich clients and bill alot harder,i do a day a week in a v/rich area(i cant be that bad).if i want help ill hire it:eek: rocky,i always make a point of telling them that the gardener would be handy the day after shifting wood, and is too dangerous for him on the day.:D

finish it

Charge him your rate and take it down. I don't buy the idea the tree needs a bigger saw to come down. I would buy into the homeowner does not know how to take the tree apart with a small saw. Bigger saws make it easier/faster and that's why we have them, we know how to use them. The biggest tree I took down with my Mac 130 w/14" bar was a 52" ABH Catalpa and the biggest tree I took down with my 335 Cali w/14" bar was a 48"+ Cherry. It's much easier with the Dolmar 7900 w/24"or 32" bar but it can be done with a small saw and a lot more effort. The homeowner has reached the extent of his ability with a saw and needs YOU to finish. He now knows his limit and should not feel bad about your price, the tree is beyond his ability but not beyond what the saw can do in the right hands.
