Fire wood

Wondering about this and havent taken action yet, wondering if anyone other has..

Does any one have a deal with a fire wood company to where they sell wood to them split or not...even give to them..??

Anyone have anything like this??

I haul hardwood logs to a guy who takes them and even gives me a little diesel money. He's really helped me out with this cause his place is centrally located in the area. Saw logs go to a friend for $ and any pine of poplar goes in a dump pile then that is burned

It's a good idea to keep a little black book of people who will take loads of round wood and chip.

If you see an out door boiler going in a yard on your normal rout, stop and ask if you can dump at your conveniance. There is a truck repair shop out in the boonies that has a huge boiler, they will come out and load/haul wood for a small fee. Any wood: willow, cottonwood, pinus(SPF)

good deal...

i do most of my business in San Diego...and i have three different guys that will take any burnable wood off my hands for free

but i am in college now in northern California...Sonoma State Univ.

trying to figure out a place to where i can get rid o wood up here
