Not sure why this forum is not recognizing jpg files niw?
I was able to look at the box, looks pretty nice. There is something I like about the look of stacked firewood in the open rack though. Nothing like a nice pretty stack of splits to look at while you drink coffee. I guess it all comes down to your decor and the look you are going for.

I don't have time to admire pieces of firewood! Maybe in 40-50 years when im filling diapets and eating mushed up steak. Right now I'm eating breakfast while sitting on the throne and answering emails.

You have a throne? King of Palmer, Alaska?

I kid, of course.

I was able to view your wood box/holder. It looks very similar to mine. Though I built mine with an open front, having a 1x2 at the front bottom edge to contain debris, bark, etc. No wheels on mine, though I have thought about adding some.

LOL..... I always get a kick out of everbody who tries to sell everybody on the idea they are sooooooooo busy but yet they find time to post multiple times a day on forums.:laughing::laughing:

Sawjunky23: That is a nice looking rack. Function wise, that beautiful wood floor is going to get some dents in it. Some are saying kept outside because of bugs, and that's where I'm at. We keep several days to a weeks worth for two stoves, in the garage, also on wheels.0203102159.jpgIMG_0321.jpg

Thats a good idea as long as you have good acess from your garage to where the basement is kept.

It's called mulitasking. Reading the forums is a bit of "relaxation". Paying and filing bills and making lunch right now, about to head to work.

I work roughly from 9am to 11pm 7 days a week.

We would put 3-4 cords in the basement of my parents house. Never had a bug problem and did it for almost 30 years.

The one issue with that rack is it will be messy if any wood has snow on it, or even from bits of bark falling off. I use a box I built which is on wheels. Wheel it out to the pirch, load it up and set it near the stove.

Now that is a useable, workable tool and does cut donw on labor vice carry and armload at a time from the porch (in my case)
