Pecan firewood
How much is a 16' trailer full 2' deep 6' wide worth? Couple days ago had to cut down a pecan tree and wanted to sell the wood , but don't have a clue what it's worth?

Question.

Is the wood cut, split, and stacked in the trailer, or loose thrown rounds of random lengths? In seĺling wood, most of the value is in the labor, processing, and delivery, not the raw material.

welcome to AS GPC. lots of variables on price. check your local craigslist to see what people are charging in your area. the questions Swamp Yankee asked also determine price. if you just want to move it you can be a little more flexible on price compared to what people are charging. good luck on selling you wood. If the wood is stacked nice and tight, then you have about 1.5 cords. If its just thrown in the trailer, then you can figure you only have about a cord.

I have a guy who I have sold Pecan too in the past who I could get $200 out of it pretty easy. He uses it for smoking meat, swears by it

IF it's for firewood and it's NOT seasoned it is worth less than if it was seasoned...
