First load with the new trailer.
Doesn't tilt as far as I thought it would. Also hard to pivot the bed left and right with a load on it. Tracks well and maneuvers easier backwards than my old John Deere cart.
Capacity as loaded is .13 cord.

Nice trailer. What brand is that?

Why does it back easier? I've found backing a trailer with an ATV most challenging. I'm good with a regular trailer, not much with the ATV.

It is a Yutrax. Longer tongue and dual wheels doesn’t seem to jackknife as quickly as my old cart.
The bed comes in two sections and is bolted together.
The tongue is in three pieces so hopefully that won’t be an issue.

Taller tires will give you more tilt. Maybe load it east to west instead of north and south to help the logs roll out?

Our atv trailer is similar with tandem axle, but has torsion suspension. Pros and cons there.
I had a welding shop make a mounting plate for a removable jack, and added a dolly wheel. The jack came with a weld-on stub tube mounting. Welding that to the frame would have been much to low, and the adaptor address that. Also, Cantoo suggested turning the jack 90* when not in use, and repinning it, so it is always with the trailer. It just fits in the horizontal position. Left vertical it is where the quad will hit it when turning.
The added tongue jack is especially nice for unhooking when the trailer is backed in the garage loaded with a weeks worth of firewood.
Photos are a bit dark but you get the gist of the idea.IMG_9845.jpgIMG_9844.jpgIMG_9846.jpg

I don’t think I could go much taller without hitting the pivot brace.
I cut 16” and only 30” wide so would reduce the amount I could load considerably.

Most yard carts don't dump worth a hoot. I had 3 of them, end up just shoveling them out by hand or better yet, just use a wheelbarrow for stuff I need to dump out. Or if I really need to move a bunch of stuff, I just drive one of the skid steers or the backhoe to the house, only about 2 miles between the shop and the house.

My dump cart came with the used John Deere lawn tractor. I do use it more and more, and far more then I ever thought I would. Those double axle carts are the best. With an extension handle being able to use it as a hand pull cart sure is better then my wheel barrow.
