FL Citrus Canker

Any S.FL treemen around?? Give us an update on the citrus canker situation.
Last I heard a couple of months ago they still had tree guys all over Miami and West Palm area jumping fences and cutting down Citrus trees to stop the spread. Homeowners are pissed, pointing guns at people and last I heard the big thing was to get a nail gun and load the tree with nails to make the removal cost more. I think the homeowner gets $100.00, but no choice about the tree being removed.

I'm north of the citrus "war zone", but I recieved a request to bid on removing them a while back. I thought about the people with guns, nails in the trees and all the other negative PR and declined to bid.
