Yes every machine is designed for a purpose , but you never know a little modification here and there might bring results . I am really impressed by Log Rites gate arch ,Baileys sells them.A light weight tool you can carry in your pickup and move a whole large tree to the curb, logs limbs and all. Now if A guy can only power it besides using a winch to pull it. I have seen kits for powered wheel barrows which run for 8 hrs on a single charge carring 500+lbs.

Got the other company who copied the muck truck.[ terratruckusa.com ]
They make some handy acessories for it ,one is a dolley attachment in place of the dump box. Add some stakes on the dolley and you can carry alot of brush or carry a 8 ft log sideways on the footplate.

Check out www.haulzall.com they make the battery powered wheel barrow kits . They claim to be strong & efficent. I believe the gate arch can be powered several ways with one of these kits.

A powered gate arch or Terra Truck would be the step below a mini skid steer in my mind. Not just in the savings of costs but the versatility you would have not rutting up your customers lawn.

Thought I'd add this too.
Check out www.mucktruckamerica.com They are the original manufacturer and they look like a stronger product.
How about the Muck Truck pulling the Log Rite gate arch [www.logrite.com] , The Muck Truck has a ball hitch and the gate arch has a 2" receiver hitch holes in several different positions where you can attach a trailer ball coupler bolted to a short piece of 2"x2"steel tubing with pin hole. Now wouldn't that be the ultimate low impact system?

I thought I'd pass this info on , I was talking to a couple tree services and they have been using the Muck Truck to move their smaller chippers and pull type stump grinders into inaccessible locations . While the chipping and grinding is being done the groundie is hauling chips to the truck with the Muck Truck.

Willard.
