Man oh man let me tell you that is some work! I finaly had a perfect tree to try this out on. I got my climb line up to the top and got buisy. I made it to the top and by the time I got up there I was whooped!!! As some of you know, up here is the national forest of Colorado we really dont have a lot of hard woods. Most of what we have are pines, spruce trees and Aspens. This was a pretty good sized pine tree I have 150 foot of line. and ended up at the botton with about 20 feet left. For this area its a decent sized tree. Long story short I finaly got to try the footlocking for the first time and it was fun.
I am taking my hat off to those of you that do it on a daily basis. I wanted to try climbing it with out spikes and got it done. I am very sore right now.
