Hi All.
Have 6 yr old FS45 Stihl Hedgetrimmer on the bench, No Start occasionally fires. Plug / coil test by eye seems a consistent spark there. Spark plug shows signs of fuel getting there, removed muffler and have sighted a wet cylinder and piston.
Was reported for a while running at operating temperature to give a little backfire and die, then unable to get it running again until cold. Sounds problematic coil? Don't know.
* Could someone please advise me what the initial carb settings are, carb has limiters removed and has been cleaned and diaphragms replaced.
Im having trouble reconciling that there is appears to be spark and fuel and compression but the engine is as good as dead.
