Fuel consumption of the 441

The 440 holds 1.9 more ounces worth of fuel, so the 441 has a little ground to catch up.

I've never purposely ran both of them clean out of gas to see how long a tank will last on either...But I think I'll do it next time I'm out either burning my woodpiles or working up firewood....My helpers use the 440's much more than I do...Usually if I'm on the ground using a saw it's a big one...But now I'm curious because I know the 441 cuts stronger than the 440,but if it does it and uses less gas...that's a feat..

fuel consumption

i recently traded wit a saw shop owner. i traded a sixty year old stihl s 10 for a husky 51. it was hard on gas that stihl was.the guy who ran the store was amazed that i turned down a brand new stihl ms 660 for that used husky. i told him i dont like stihl. bill howe the smartest 18 year old you will ever meet:blob2:
