Fuel Surcharges

With the rising costs of doing business and especially the rising cost of fuel, I have contemplated following suit with so many other services and adding a fuel surcharge. I have been contemplating how to go about doing this. I could do so many dollars per hour or so much per piece of equipment that uses fuel on a site.

I am at this point undecided. Like to here your thoughts and what you are doing.

You could bid the job like you normally would and charge so much per mile to and from the jobsite.
