This will be the second year I will start my own sugar pine from seed. Last year went so-so, and I hoping to do much better this year. Hopefully I have done a better job at the stratification this year. We'll see in May. Last year I lost about 3/4 of the crop to what I beleive was fungus. I was wondering if anybody can tell me what they use for fungicides while stratification, and if they keep using it after the seedling take off to stop damping off. Thanks for any help.

Captan

Captan and sometimes a drench after the seedlings emerge.
Wear a dust mask and gloves when handling the dust...it's nasty!
