I have a red one and a yellow one, why not green?

Never heard of a Lesco chainsaw before. I once had a Lesco belt driven walk behind mower.

Badge Engineering...change the badge and the color, Presto - New Saw!

I think it is pretty cool you have a lesco chainsaw. I am pretty sure they quit making mowers but I know some people that swear by them. That would be a good gtg saw. Nobody else will ever have one.

Bailey's sold Green 651's at one time

Order enough of them and they will put anyones name on them. Ours were a darker green color and we called them a B51.

I have a funky green LCS 5100 Lesco saw too. I will post pics tomorrow as well.

Are parts available for these? If so what brand do I need to order Solo?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yep, Its a Solo Agnes

You can find a parts list here:

http://www.solousa.com/store/browse/parts.html

You can buy parts direct from Solo. They are a little slow, lots of back orders, but I have always gotten what I ordered-eventually.

If your saw has the plastic front handle then it is probably a 650. Other than the P&C the parts will be the same as a 639 and 645

Here are the pics maybe these can help tell which model?

Looks like a 651

Here's a link to the parts list:

http://www.solousa.com/kb_pdfs/644_651.pdf

It looks like you have a 651 which is actually Solo's pro saw. The ones I have are the "mid level" saws (639/645/650)

Most people have never heard of them. Great for me. There are lots of Solo bargains out there.

Like I said before, you can order parts direct from Solo. They seem prone to back orders, but I always get what I order, eventually.

Thanks for confirming the model number for me. I now have to place a parts order with the website.

Other than this site I have not been able to find any information regarding a funky green Lesco.....

Thanks again.

I guess I lucked out.... All the parts that I ordered on Monday have come already and none were backed ordered.

Now I gotta find the time to put em in and fire it up again.

Glad to hear it. Back orders must just be my luck.

Just snagged one of these over the weekend. $25 dollars! Runs pretty good and cuts decent. Does anyone know if this is a 651sp or a straight 651? Mine looks just like the one in the photos posted by Agnes. I want to find a 3/8 sprocket for it. They want 30 something dollars on the Solo site.

I don't know if you have the IPL yet, so here it is.

It looks like the SP has a two shoe clutch while the 651 has a more conventional three shoe deal. It looks like most of the parts are the same.

If you need a rim sprocket, I would bet money that a standard small spline oregon sprocket will work.

On another note, I just picked up another funky green solo last week too. It is a craftsman backpack blower that I am pretty sure is a 471 Solo leaf blower. Nice machine.

Wow is that a crappy picture.

I know this is an old thread but I picked up a Lesco LCS 5100 and was wondering how I can tell if this is the 651 vs the 651 SP.

Also can you get parts for this from the manufacture? Sorry I don't know much about Solo saws.

Model number is LCS 5100
