Great shot of the kids!

But why are you holding an 020?

Guy would be upset... arborists don't need saws that big; tree murderers do. ;)

The big bar is nice on wood larger than 3' in diameter. Prevents double cutting or having to work the back of the tree when felling. I'm running full skip 3/8 square ground to make it cut fast. An 088KD with an 8 pin sprocket makes quick work of big wood.:D

familyfun

That would have to be the best "family" photo ive ever seen..

my son getting a head start on ppe... Derek....

My future Arborist wont be due till the first part of November. Im starting him off right, he is even named after a tree. Linden Vance Shawcroft. I may have do dig around and find the ultrasound pics and post them on here.

Can't wait for my 14-yr old to turn 16 so he can legally use my 32" husky 272 on old stumps. Physically able now, and he's already good at arborist tools, the diagnostic scoops and specs and (organic) sprays and hand and pole tools.

:jester: from new England--still got more Jokers?

Sure! You're here.

Why cut old stumps? Isn't that interfering with the natural process of things?

Rocky, wouldn't it be more humane to kill the tree fast with a sharp saw than slowly with a dull one after all?
