Made by Husqvarna sounds like they want to compete with the cheaper market of chain saws.
Does anyone have one?

If you click on details it comes up Husqvarna weird.
I wonder why Husqvarna didn’t invest more into the partner or jred line of saws. Gardol a totally different name. Any thoughts?[/URL]

So much plastic on that thing and all of the cheap China clones I have seen broken, broke easily like they are made of brittle non reinforced straight plastic. The first type I seen around here were branded with a Homelite decal, pure junk in my opinion.

I was just looking at it, it seems husky, poulan wants a low entry into the chinese nitch. Lots of saws are offered in the low end. Mostly from China.
I would only buy a low end saw to keep at my camp. My little 9” bar eager beaver seems to handle most smaller trees from storm damage so far been lucky.

Homelite is made in China,,,,,,,,,

I had a close call with my 2100. I had a large tree knotched ready to drop on the back cut. The split second a gust of wind came by. Spun the tree around as the hindge broke, binding up the bar on my 2100 as it smashed the saw. My point is some magnesium cracked but most of the nasa space age plastic held up. I needed a new crankcase. I had a split second to reach in and grab the saw but the saw can be replaced.

Put an Oregon B/C on a China box store saw & it gives it credibility. Newbs see the big Oregon brand label and presume the whole saw is USA Oregon..lol.
I bought a Stihl HT131 that said made in Germany on the bar in plain letters. Probably was half a year before I read the label assembled in USA with components from around the globe. Not sure such labeling made a purchasing decision as they ordered it in for me.

My two Husky top handle saws I got on the other hand said made in Sweden on the box and the bar came in a wrapper inside that said made in China in tiny letters.

I’m being good. Don’t want to bother anyone. Lol
I been watching you tube, truck builders, magnet fishing, ect.. a hint I purchased a large magnet,,,,,,,,,

Everything seems to come from China, probably because there is no environmental laws there yet on pollution. We polluted the USA to death so we will pollute another country.
