We we had a cold front move in over the weekend, it was low 30s at night and low 40s during the day. Perfect weather to be outdoors cleaning up the wood piles, and getting ready for Spring. Got some pallets and stacked some green wood close to the stove, moved a dump bed trailer full of wood down to next year's pile. Need to get everything out of the way for some gravel and concrete work this summer. I will probably burn until middle or end of May, filling the stove every two or three days with small and dry pieces when it gets 50 - 60 (this week).

This evening had time to cut the grass for the first time, that new mower works awesome.

Thanks.... It is a Toro Commercial ZTR, 52" deck, 25 HP Kawasaki, picked it up a month or so ago... I think Exmark and Toro got something going, they joint build these or something..... Posted some pics in the 'Off Topic forum' awhile back. Here are some close up pics....

Spring?

This photo was taken last Thursday. It was gone in two days but forecast calls for more this coming Sat.As you can see I Jumped the gun and brought the boat out. The day before it was 65!

Ouch !!! I feel for some of you peps up north. We are now in the 70s during the day, and last night's low was 61. At this rate I will be checking the woodstove in the evenings just to stir it up, and adding some wood every 3 - 4 days. Oh well, beats the heck out of that snow.
