Getting the beatdown

Well a while back I told y'all about me hurting my ribs with one of those gas powered post hole diggers, was drilling hole for my garden ( gotta get ready for the beans!),. Apparently, when I was stationed in Beaufort SC, the city redid my road and put the fill on my back yard, we didn't know they put the old road back there and covered it up. So I am drilling out these hole, on the last on (of course) and the auger catches a big chunk of asphalt, stops auger dead in its tracks, power head spins and nails me in the side, so hard it thru me, never EVER have been hit with anything like that. Went to get x-rays, nuttin, they tell me I must have just bruised it. Go to chiro, he sees big bump pushing out of my chest. "WTF" Go back to Doc at VA. He sees bump "holy sh#t, that isn't right" New x rays, 2 secs after he opens them, BIG HUGE break in my 4th rib, drivers side! So I have been workin with my normal Marine bootable injuries, then a broken pinky finger! now a rib! I feel like some sombyatch is put a curse on me!

Well, I had a papercut once, hurt like hell.:msp_w00t:

Actually, once I fell on a stem wall we had poured, shoved a half inch bolt in between two ribs, grazing the lung. For the next couple months, if I sneezed or laughed it would blow air from my lung under the skin and scab on that area and make a big skin bubble. The pain would drop me to the floor. On the brighter side, my "friends" had plenty of entertainment for a couple months.:mad2:

I saw two kids on a landscaping crew run one of those big augers onetime. As soon as they tried to dig it slung both of them and threw them to the ground. Laughed my ass off on that.

I broke a rib playing football when I was a kid. And yes it hurt to fart...

Well! SCREW THAT! 10 ribs, no thanks, im havin a hard enough time with one! I gotta say, coughing is the worst, its like re-breaking it everytime.
