I got just what I wanted in a saddle. A light weight packable harness.

It fits with streamlining my setup. It's only got a (top blown out) sweetgum td and a choke cherry limb removal on it but I sat in saddle for some time today and I must say it didn't feel that much different from the Weaver double d saddle I used before. If you like to feel your in a saddle this one isn't for you. It's much like wearing a seatbelt. I really couldn't tell it was there.

I'm not sure where to clip the chainsaw to yet but maybe someone else who has one can let me in on that one. And I had a little steel ring in the front of my Weaver to hang my gloves on which was handy the glide lite is lacking that option.

Thought I was a gonner when I shifted my weight and the steel ring raced across the bridge which took a little effort in the Weaver but I'll get used to that.

Now we'll see how long she'll last but I think it's gonna be a good one.

One more note. I bought a vest that rockers use. It's just a dingie thing made from straps. I don't mind storing my utilities on my backside but when I am working with something I often hang things on my bridge which I don't see a problem with but thought if I could hook them to my chest it would be handier. I saw this vest at EMS for I think $25. and made it part of my gear.

I will try to get some pics up when I get a chance.
