I also have a KD 2159 that I use personaly.

The 2159s are pretty darn good right out of the box though.

Another good saw in that weight range is the 962 Efco/John Deere 62. It is about $400.

The new 2152 Jonsered also has good power to weight. It will now edge out a 260.

i said it was a nice saw, haven't been out long enough to say it is a good saw. i think it will be a good saw. i tore one down just to realy check it out. i'll call it semi-pro. not realy pro but mutch better then a 290. i feel the out perform the 260. fully adjustable carb. quick throttle responce, good power, starts on the thired pull when cold, one pull the rest of the day. we've sold 10 with no complaints. time will tell if it's a good saw or even a great saw.
