My set of GreenTeeth arrived the other day for the Rayco 1635 Super Jr. this machine has 9 pairs of teeth ( Rayco Super Teeth )

3 pairs of straights, 6 pairs of angled teeth.

Here are my two questions-

I am assuming that the GreenTeeth go on in the SAME order as the SuperTeeth- the angled go where the original angled teeth were, and the straight green teeth go where the straight original teeth were, correct? I just want to make sure these dont cut differently and require a different pattern.

2nd- do i use lock-tite on ALL of the bolts, or just the ones that hold the pockets in????

thank you

I wouldn't use locktite on ANY of the bolts. Torque 'em down with a big pipe and they won't be going any where.

don't forget to double check your torque specs and retorque after a stump or two, or so I've been told, makes sense.

putting the whole set on Friday took longer than I thought it would, but- i have to keep in mind that i changed the pockets AND the teeth this time.

I got to use them today after removing two 65-70 foot cottonwood trees.

Ill be honest, I believe these reduced my stump grinding time in HALF on these stumps compared to the "super teeth"

they cut so smooth.... they dont bounce and stall the machine as much, they looked barely even touched after grinding out 2- four foot wide stumps + surface roots.

I think ill really like the GreenTeeth.

R u using the 700 series? what horse power is ur machine? I have em on my little carlton and i think they are just ok. They have good points and bad.

Yes, 700 series low profile pockets, on a 35 horse power rayco

I just bought a rayco rg1635 sjr and was wondering how the greenteeth have been working out? I ran 1100 series teeth on my sc252 because that's what greenteeth recommended for it back in 2004. they worked great but I see they now recommend the 700 or 900 series for 35hp machines. Just wondering if the smaller teeth grind well and if you have any regrets going with greenteeth on the rayco? I wonder if anyone has run the 1100s on this size machine as I still have a bunch of them leftover...
