Lean is mean, but it don't last.. Tach is good, but you can go "old school".. ie; start it, pin it for 10 seconds, then shut it off before it idles,, read the plug color,, a bit rich is definitely better, yet not to darken the plug... try to find a plug color chart. It is not black magic to find an ear for it..

Good to go there! Tach reads 2800-3000rpm when idle and 9000rpm WOT which is spec for 240.

9000RPM will be spec for max power RPM under load. No load (with standard bar & chain) should be more like 12500 RPM
