picked up a 20 av super today. running good ,dull as a bone. so after shes cool i take it out and wash it off after putting some grease cutter on.
well i got water in the ignition apparently. so i dried it with a blow dryer. now she cranks run good but then just dies . ive adjusted the idle l an h.
itll sound like its doing fine and then it dies. im thinking vacuum . just remembered i havnt cleaned the air filter .mabe the crud got wet. but the way shes running aint like it was when i got it. its bad when u shoot u on self in the foot. any ideas appreciated. tm

instead of drying things off with a hair dryer try using WD-40, spray it on the wiring and ignition let sit 5 minutes and wipe down. the wd-40 takes the moisture out of things. i do this farely often, when my saws get nasty i clean them up using purple power (from walmart) and water, i take the starter housing off and wipe out as much stuff as i can the blow out some more using an air compressor and then i spray the purple power on trying to avoid the wireing as much as possible:rolleyes: then rinse it off and dry it using my air hose and WD-40. hope this helps:angel:

thanks for the tip. at last try the recoil
started messin up . mabe tomorrow itll all be fine . or mabe u willsee it on ebay as a pts saw. dang thing ran so good when i bought it. as usual w these 020 s the switch didnt work. like i say a good thing gone bad . fart.n thang:angry:
