Thats gonna be one to watch to conclusion.

Whats the difference between a chainsaw and a Chainsaw chain saw?

Well, to Ebay's search engine the compound word "chainsaw"and the two separate words "chain" and "saw" are ALL the difference. :D

Seriously, somebody mentioned the Ebay police but can they really do anything about it. I see no problem with him asking $500 for that piece of junk. He'd be a scumbag to accept it, but that's all a matter of opinion.

If he can find somebody who wants to pay that kind of cheese, more power to him. Sales people should be taking lessons from him.

With nobody buying, he'll just be wasting time and money listing it, and maybe a lesson learned.

Chris B.

P.S. How come I never see the Craftsman saw I have anywhere? It's based the Poulan 3700. In fact, other than the color I'd say it's identical. Not a bad saw, cut a fair amount of wood and is still going. I'd never pick up before I grabbed one of my other saws, but it's dependable.

If this is common on Ebay, The dealers woud not lose mony on it.
When crap is sold expensive and there is a novice byer, He don`t do it again. Next tie he will go and ask dealer for best option.

It's a "Buy It Now" auction, so there will only be one bidder. But I'm sure you were just being funny Mike MAAS. I put it on my watch list anyway to see if someone buys it.

$500, look again its been corrected to $49.99 buy it now

Guess it was a typo, $50 is more like it, but still too high for me.

Can't say there is any difference but Costco had the 3516 on sale for under $100 new in the box and you got 2 chains, a pair of gloves, a bottle of oil to mix up a gallon of fuel and a scrench for your $100. They came with a 16" bar. How old can that estate be?? I bought a half dozen of them to give to homeowners that wanted me to drop a tree and leave it for them to clean up. I priced it in with the job and had happy homeowners. They got a new saw and I got out of there with no cleanup. Easy day and left them with a smile on their face. Most all the parts were interchangeable with the 3505 pro which used to sell for $209 back ten years or more. I got my daughter a 3505 to cut firewood back in the days when she camped out in the summer. I gave her a 3516 incase the 3505 gets broken. They are nowhere near the saw a Husky 346 is, not even close and for about a hundred more than he is asking you could have the power ported 346. Now there's a fun saw.
The Ebay police must have called him on it.That price went from $500 to $49.99 in a hurry.
