I've bought stuff on Ebay over the years, quite a bit of stuff including 2 sets of tires just in the last month. The few times I had a problem with something I got I messaged the seller first to clear it up and always had a good response. One was a new jug for a 41 Husky I dry gassed. It came and the bolt holes did not match. Contacted the seller and told them it didn't fit. The description said it was a match and they told me to keep it and sent another free of charge. That one didn't fit either. We went back and forth with pictures, confirmation of SN etc. They scratched their heads and said according to their books it should fit. They told me to keep them both and refunded my money which was very fair. Very odd but I gave them a great rating for trying.
On a number of things from Ebay and Amazon after ordering I immediately got an email from the seller thanking me for the purchase and asking that if I had a problem before opening a case or giving a review to contact them first to make it right.
