As much as fuel is I'm think of a battery powered Moped for estimates.....
America is a lot bigger than Britain and as such requires more travel--especially in rural areas (before I moved to school, I drove 30 miles one way to go to town--8 miles of that dirt road ). As such, I don't think fuel prices are directly comparable. I will admit that American cars need to be more fuel efficient.Originally posted by ROLLACOSTA
you guys have me roaring with laughter when you complain about feul prices ...we Brits pay over nearly 7 dollers a gallon

Fuel prices here are a lot cheaper. But, the government makes sure it gets taxes somewhere. lol Last year, I put 50,000 miles on my car. I don't know what the average is here, and it surely varies by locale. Since I've been at the University, I normally don't travel more than 100 miles/week.Originally posted by ROLLACOSTA
the average miles driven here in the uk are 15,000 miles per annum...spacemule you still got to admit US prices for feul are on the the verge of being absurd
I agree. They've been hovering around the $2/gallon mark all year when they should be down around $1.25Originally posted by ROLLACOSTA
