As much as fuel is I'm think of a battery powered Moped for estimates.....

I'll take one. That would be the sweetest for pulling a bobcat. Luxury! That will be a one ton any day.

I had the opportunity to see a large GMC truck decked out like that several years ago.  It was a new truck made that way just like the one in the photo.

It was amazingly ignorant-looking.  One would need a step ladder to access the bed.

Just get one with ramps and Haul it in the back. :blob2:

I watched a story on the news here a month or so ago about those trucks, there is one in Phoenix. My fear is those people that have trouble driving/parking a 4dr long bed super duty driving one of those.

Not a completely impractical vehicle. Suitable for towing the largest travel trailers.Big horse trailers. Racecar teams. A superb Hot-shot hauler's rig. Of course I would just love to have one with a dinky little dump bed on it ( But not as much as I'd like a normal 1 ton with the extended frame-2 feet for cross boxes and 10 for the chipbox. )

That is one cool looking truck, you know its a tough truck once you find it in hip hop videos.:D Im sure in not time they will be taking kids to school and picking up grocerys by the local accountants wife. Bet they cost a bomb.

Id agree on the fuel cost point, its a bit of overkill (but then when has that ever stopped us buying cool stuff?)

It starts at $93,000, runs $105,000 typically equipped and tops out at $115,000 with DVD player, leather upholstery, tilting dump box and rear-view camera.

They might make up to 60 this year.

America is a lot bigger than Britain and as such requires more travel--especially in rural areas (before I moved to school, I drove 30 miles one way to go to town--8 miles of that dirt road ). As such, I don't think fuel prices are directly comparable. I will admit that American cars need to be more fuel efficient.

the average miles driven here in the uk are 15,000 miles per annum...spacemule you still got to admit US prices for feul are on the the verge of being absurd :D

Fuel prices here are a lot cheaper. But, the government makes sure it gets taxes somewhere. lol Last year, I put 50,000 miles on my car. I don't know what the average is here, and it surely varies by locale. Since I've been at the University, I normally don't travel more than 100 miles/week.

I've always wanted to visit the UK. Tintern Abbey sounds interesting.

I agree.  They've been hovering around the $2/gallon mark all year when they should be down around $1.25

If you're bragging about paying more I don't understand it.

hahaha!
