I'm going to cut right back on my contracting work, just do the nice local arb jobs. anything big i'll sub out.
And of course, I'm going to build up my machinery sales business!..

I want to start another new buisness but have no idea how or what since i no nothing about anything .Tree work just kinda came to me but , id really like to try something new . any ideas? believe it or not im thinking of trying my hand at retail. Likely hate it but who knows? cool topic

Funny you should ask Rolla, First thing on my list when I get back to Buffalo is start my own tree care business. I've been buying lots of gear while I'm here, I got the paperwork for a New York state business permit, I'm looking for insurance quotes, and trying to come up with a formal business plan. This might be hard, I'm also planning on going to school part time for physicians assistant. Ummm, getting married too.

I would just like to build my business up enough to where I am just doing sales and I have a crew doing most of the work and I just help them out. I think at the present rate I will be there in a year. I am 52 years old so I think that anymore career changes are out of the question.

now that me and the missus have split, im gonna sell the house, split the profit and clear my debt, (i got the house 20k under value off of my great uncle), gonna get meself a holiday and some new toys....boss just loves the idea of a week of in january......

that and ask out the tasty lassie at the indoor climbing wall.....hmmmm kept jamming the saw today thinking of her......tight a$$ and a harness........

oh that and i was toying with the idea of starting a small printed clothing range.

I'm gonna go around to construction site dumpsters and scoop up all that scrap lumber they throw out and make cat trees outta them. Have you seen what they want for those things? Meow. I don't need insurance for that or any employees. Maybe make a few extra bucks.
