Has anyone tried out the ball-shaped throw weights advertised in the new Sherrill Tree catalog? They're supposed to be designed to help them fly better out of a Big Shot, but I wonder how they compare to the regular throw weights when launched by hand?

I don't think they are available yet, May 11 is what they say. I want to try them too.
If they fly anything like golf balls out of a big shot the feds will want to ban them like a .50 BMG

I bought a 12oz because I need to get my order up to a 100 for the free shipping. Since I was already spending 70 n shipping was 14 seemed smart enough. Anyway...I was pretty impressed today with it. Flew str8 and weaved through the branches pretty good. It doesnt richocet to bad either. It def fits into the big shot sling perfectly. I really like it so far. I am glad I bought it.
My dogs love to chase tennis balls but when I bring out the Big Shot they up and quit on me. They think it's really funny to watch me chase the ball now.
