I had started a thread about getting a new saw (New saw, Not now) and what happened while I was looking at them. It has been a couple of weeks and I finally went back in there.
I asked what he'd like to do about the toys that broke while my girls were playing with them and he sheepishly agreed that whatever I wanted to do would be fine because he felt like an ass over the whole deal. I told him that I had bought a replacement for the one that was 20 years old ($20 ebay) and he said that'd be great.
I told him that I had decided on the MS441 but would like to wait since the warranty was only 90 days. He said that he'd go a year since I am not in the firewood business. I said "Let's do it!"
It happened, I have pics,
$824 out the door with a 28" bar and 3 chains. It is going to wear a 20" 95% of the time.
Kendall just turned 5 and Elena turns 7 next week.
I am going to order an 8 pin sprocket and bigger spikes tonight. I also want to get a carrying case for it but it won't fit in the Stihl case because the chain brake is too tall. Anyone find a case that it fits in?
