Whatcha think..the sticker kinda look like sh*t...its kind of a PITA to put a rectangular sticker on a round object..o well. I usually slit them a little bit with a razor..but i didn't this time(should have) they will get scarred up anyway

Now you've got a hard hat. Look's a lot like the Mac-T I've been wearing for the last 25 year's.
Get ready to get made fun of if you work with other crew's. They'll call it a tin can, a dog water bowl, etc. but I've never seen one shatter when hit with a limb.

I don't know that anybody around here has one...ive never seen anybody with one..maybe some of the old coal miners might have one..some loggers don't even wear hard hats!!:monkey:

It really is aloggin helmet

I thought it was going to be a forestry plastic system with do hicky majiggies. Well now ya got that piece of PNW attire. Slowp should be happy cause natural aluminum goes with most logging colors and seasons.

Ive been wanting one of these for a long time...too long...and i finally bit the bullet

Where are the dents??? Stay safe Caleb...

oo...trust me...give it time..it will prolly save my head and get tossed several times....(i'm pretty good at that-and this helmet seems pretty arrowdynamic=good distance) my other helmet has saved me a time or two. and this one is sure to do the same(you always know it is a pretty good blow when it knocks the hat off of you!! Its got some pretty good scrapes on it

red reflective tape??? :monkey: explain please

LOL...It makes the hat easier to find after you have a riggin fit and either drop kick it or frisbee it off into the brush. Also, if
you have it in the creek, weighted down with beer cans, and somebody swipes your beer, it's easier to see in the deep parts.
You can also use it for a taillight reflector if you're backing down into a steep yarder slip in the dark...just put it on the ground where you want your left rear tire to be.

LMAO!! i usually watch where my helmet goes when send it zinging through the woods..usually. i could see where the reflective tape could be handy...i'll keep it in mind...

as for using it as a back up marker....that sounds like a good way for it to get smasholid

NIce lid i have one that is about a year it has held up pretty well so far. Do you guys think they hold up as good as the old ones?

It should hold up only real differance is the plate riveted inside the top for reinforcement to meet OSHA standards. Some people dont like the new suspension but I think you can track down old style that fits.

dog dish!LOL

Nice hat, SI! Atleast I'm not the only logger who still wears a helmet! I know a lot of guy's that don't....but they should......:chainsawguy:  ;) :D :rockn:

The best thing about metal hats? You can write on em with a pencil. Don't need that rite in the rain paper, just use the hat. I am disappointed that you didn't get the pink one though.
They also come in handy for packing water over to a spot fire, reflecting sun rays in your co-worker's eyes, and the round ones sail farther than the cap ones when you have a rigging fit. If it has the hookie things on the head part, (I think it is to hold goggles on or the helicoptering chin strap) you can amuse your co-workers by picking out toons on the hooky things and keeping sleep at bay. They always appreciate that and will thank you before the ride is over. You will find that the hat makes a much louder thunk when you hit yourself on the head with say, a choker bell. Enjoy....

Nice turtle ya got there. Most the guys I worked with had the plastic jobbies. . . . I wanted something a little beefier, so I got the alum. full-brim. Let me tell you, that thing saved my skull a few times.
