For Blakes. I figured I just start sharing with everyone and toss up the pics beforehand. We are looking to do this next week, its going to be just us both only and should go really well. Mostly bomb the two little nasties and pop the dead out the the third, be out by 3.


The first is this dead oak which almost can be dropped though not a bad climb. Should go quick, adjacent trees for TIP all over. Its the one in the middle

You can see the big Y on the alive oak, its right there. The tops can be bombed.

Into the road. The first trunk in the pic is the dead oak.

It may be we just drop that one, we will see. The road is relatively tame, it can be worked with 2 guys. There is plenty-o- dz in the yard to. Go ahead, send one to China. I figure on this one to set a TIP for the climber and then set pull ropes for the top then chunk til we can drop the pole.

Standing to the right to the dead oak is this gem of a double lead poplar.

Oh yeah, there is that, I forgot.:greenchainsaw:

Should be no problem to spike up there and send it down. We can take half of each lead into the street if you like but one could get up there and just cut it let a gentleman while I run it through and watch for cars.


This is another good TIP to use whne doing the poplar.

There are more tree that can be used but I don't think we are going to have a problem.

Yeah, this is fun decent job. I hope to start doing more jobs like this with some more guys from around here. I am getting real tired of having to keep ON all these guys who don't want to do the job. I was going to climb these myself but the way Jesse and John are I don't want the hassle. Its all Attitude.
The other day Jesse was getting all passive agressive cause things where being a pain in the ass and thier boss is a chump. So here I am blowing out huge dead tops from a beech:

The Dan ( from 50 feet tied to dead) :

" Grab that rope"


Jesse:

" uhhhhhhhhhh, What rope?"

It was the pull rope I just set in the top of a dead piece.


The Dan:

" Grab it and give it a pull"

He absentmindly reaches behind him to grab the rope. He is not looking at the rope, he is just standing there looking at his feet. Still no grab and pull.

The Dan:

"Lets go, get in position over there ( he is trying to pull from right under where the limb is going) and see what it feels like"

So he gets all rammy and grabs the rope and start running backwards, slips on his ass, holds onto the rope as he goes down putting to much force on the limb I was on and CRACK!

Oh but who called me and begged me to come help them? Who said" we need you"? Who said " you make this so much easier"? Who still stands around talking about video games and cell phones after the last time he did some crap like that. Actually it was John who ripped the dead top out of the snag I was notching last week.
I understand about " the heat" I know about " chipper madness". What happens is they don't eat but stay hopped up on Monsters and by afternoon they is crazy.
So anyway, I will be looking to work with other climbers on my jobs from now on. Its probably the wiser thing to do. At least this way the money will go to people who actually have care and interest.

And don't go thinking that I am some kind of crazed lunatic laying in wait to jump all over someone. Nope, not at all but yeah that stupid #### does it for me.I am not going to let it fall off my shoulder, in my mind that would not be the right thing to do. Anyone to tell me different I say this " Lets role play! You go up there and I will stand around down here and look at me shoes.Let me know how it works out." More often than not the conversation ends there.
I am not saying I go nuts over a mistake but when you are over there and the game is over here...? and if ya gotta call a time out then call it. Don't go do your own thing, let everbody know. You can't always do that when you want but if you are paying attention then things have a way of working.

I just scored another nice big white oak Takedown for a state trooper, lol. Imagine that. A few weeks ago we had some bad wind and this dead elm the town had been neglecting finally came down in front of the shop and took out some phone lines to the neighbors house. The cop was blocking the road with his cruiser, so I went over and started jawing with him. he said hes got this oak tree that he wants me to look at. Today he called. Actually seems like a good dude...a little serious looking, what with the shaved head and the Sheppard in the cruiser..but a decent dude. He went for the standard day rate, no questions asked, what more could you ask for these days I guess.

Yes, the pigs are not my ideal target clientele, but its the same as working for the gay ones the way I see it - I'll take their money, no problem! Hell, actually I'm too stupid to have a target clientele, I just take what I can get.

BTW: I hear ya on the help. I wont bother with trying a new guy out for the rest of this year, much easier with people that you know will be there and can perform for you, even if you have to work around their schedule.

That reminds me of a funny story MDS...

A girl I was bangin' a while back wanted me to come to a party at her gay friend's new apartment. It was during the holiday's so I expected to be drug around and shown off to my lady's friends and what not, no biggie. She told me it was a tree trimming party, and I'm like, " #### YEAH! Sounds like a blast! This Ron guy seems pretty cool! " Well let's just say that my 200T sat at home and I had to make an ornament. Damn....
