Does anybody have the load ratings for the GRCS? Namely how much can be pulled with it, and also what the WLL is for dynamic situations? For some reason I can't find this published anywhere and apparently there is no GRCS web site, just Sherrill.

There is no load rating on the GRCS.

Strange that there's no rating, I guess...

I know it's a Harken Model 44, which has a 22:1 / 44:1 gear reduction.

I'm estimating here, but figure the length of the handle alone gives you a 4:1 advantage with a 1:1 drive. So at 22:1, you'd actually be getting a 88 fold increase in your muscle power. For the sake of this example if you apply 40 pounds of down force on the handle that would equate to 3,520 pounds and of course in low gear 7,040 pounds. Maybe if someone measures their handle and the diameter of the spool we could figure it out exactly.
