Hate to say it, but this looks like one of those "If it looks to good to be true, it probably is" deals. I'd be very cautious........ :monkey:

Think about it. Depending on the dealer, the MS361 is a $650-$700 saw. Knowing how tight the margins are for Stihl dealers, I'd say $450 is well below dealer cost. Nobody is going to sell a brand new saw for less than cost. And they don't even give any explanation WHY they are selling it so cheaply! And what about warranty coverage? Nah, as much as I'd love to have a 361, I wouldn't go near that one.

U know why its so cheap? Cuz it is just the power head that is for sale. I just picked up a MS 440 power head for $600. Here in New York, a couple places are selling the saw for $569 with a 18" bar. Ive got quite a few bars and chains, so if i decided to buy a MS 361, i would be just getting the power head myself. I figure i should be able to get it for at least $500?

Saw is gone, boys. Seller had 100% positive feedback. I'd have bought it if I wanted a Stihl (that's the one I'd buy if I bought a Stihl). But a 7900 would compliment my current saws better.

I'm missing something, the link is to a MS290 for $350.

I clicked on it again and this time it was the MS361!

There is a MS440 going for $510 plus $30 shipping on ebay Guy says saw is new with bar and chain, he moved no longer needs it, seller has 100% feedback and saw looks great, if I hadn't just bought two new 460s
