Cuts much better than most teeth. Worth every penny in my book.

+1. Way better than any old-style vermeer or rayco tooth. Probably not so much better than new vermeer yellow-jacket. Maybe not as good as Sandvik teeth but still a very good cutting system. I'm glad I made the switch. The real problem is deciding what size tooth and whether red (concave) or green (flatter). Definitely red and I would suggest 700 at the smallest. The 500 size makes too small of chip. I actually use the 1100 which is probably too big but, when they loose their edge, I put them on my larger tow-behind machine which they are ideal for. I'd say the 700 or 900 if I were to refit my machine again.

700s are recomended for the 25-35 hp range self propelled grinder like the Rayco 1625/1635. The 500s are recomended for the smaller walk-behind grinders. (Think rental unit.)

The Sandvik duradisk is not even in the same class and is WAY better but it's about $1,500 to swap over (maybe more) as you have to change the whole wheel. The greenteeth swap is only about $350 or so for the Rayco 1625.

The reds are best unless you have alot of rocky soil then most use the greens. I don't have any rocks here and liked the reds better.
