I do not like them. they cause the machine to bounce a lot, even a big heavy machine. They throw chips 100' in every direction. The edges chip off in any type of rocky ground. They are very fragile.
The only good feature is that you can turn them easily when a new edge is needed. however, in ground with any rocks, that is after every stump grinding job.
They are a total waste of money, and hard on the machine. I do not recommend them.
I went back to Rayco super Teeth, before going with a Sandvic wheel and tooth system.

Thanks MowingMan, one of the best things about sites like this is situations just like this. Learning from someone elses experiences whether they are good or bad. Thanks alot because I was actually contemplating buying a set and that's $750. How do you like the Sanvik system and how much for what size. Cheers and thanks again.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I have on my rayco and I think compared to rayco teeth I love em..another guy I sub out my big stumps to runs NOTHING but rayco teeth and this guy has an RG100 and some other big machines..I mean this guy says he goes through like over 15 grand in carbide a year..no experience sharpening them yet but I plan on trying the set up they suggest on the website..as far as chip containment..that can minimized with technique or a few fence stakes and a tarp..takes 5 mins to set up

Contrary to mowingman, I like greenteeth. I find them very durable in rock, and last a long time. I certainly don't find them "a waste of money". I find my cost per year for cutters and pockets has been reduced since going with greenteeth. I run the 1100 series standard dish over 300 run hours a year on (2) 7015 carltons. I do agree that they throw chips a long way.The only time i have had a machine bounce is when my wheel was out of balance (as in new cutters and pockets on one side and worn cutters and pockets on the other) As for sanvicks I hear they are great but never used any.

I tell ya what...I want to like greenteeth, I really do. But I gotta say they don't seem to be to great. I run 700s on my carlton 2300. I think the teeth dull to fast and chip kinda easy. Also , once a lead tooth gets alittle dull then the set nut tends to get the crap wiped outa it and then I have trouble getten it off. I don't hate them enough to switch em out but when I get a bigger stumper (hopefully this summer) it will not have greenteeth on it.

My machine came with the Sanvik wheel setup. I am not sure what it would cost to convert your machine. I would imagine the cost would be well over $1000.00, but that is a guess.
