I own a place in the burbs in MA, and my extended family has a place in the foothills of the Berkshires. Been working with trees and saws my whole life, but just a weekend warrior. My main thing I do with them is downing the occasional tree and bucking them up for firewood. I run a small maple syrup evaporator, which soaks up about 1 to 2 full cords of wood a year, that I have to feed it.
