Finished my grinder project today. Spent about a week on each one. It started as they both needed some repair, and that turned into cleaning them up which turned into new paint ect.. Was a little more work then I anticipated but I think they came out looking pretty good. Here's the 1625 before I started tearing it apart. It needed a new axle so basically put in a whole new drive assembly.

Nice job, the Rayco is almost identical to my SC252, mine is pretty much brand new (10 hrs) when I need a paint job in 10 years I will send it to you! My manual doesn't say how to put on the duallies, I have to figure that out! :msp_thumbsup:

congrats on the 252! been a while since I used one but if I remember right it was just 2 bolts that threaded through the outer wheel into the inner

yeah its the same motor, no issues with it other then I wish it were a 35 horse

Here's the 1672 before it got the works. It needed a muffler so we modded one up as close to factory as possible, it's actually for a corvette. Saved about 1100.00$.

Very nice! I remember when I painted my truck and chipper, had the chipper all done, brand new stickers, was so proud of myself.........what do I do, well take pics of course, so hook them up, try to position them for the "perfect" shot. Back up to get a little more angle, forgot to put the chipper chute in the middle, jack knife the truck a little and scrap off the $50 MORBARK sticker on the chute :msp_scared: I was so.........not proud of myself. Called Alexander in Chicago to order new ones, they know me.....kinda. He ask's "didnt you just get this set"...............uhhhhhhh, he just started laughing! Jerkface, lol
I like your shop, dart board, deer head, big ol compressor tucked away..ahhhhh, reminds me of the days I had one! Now its a 24X24 garage, packed to the top with tools and a big arse back lot, cant complain about the price tho...free!

Nice work SJ. Don't forget to post pics when they get all muddy on your first job! lol

Very Nice! Completely envious of the garage space. Nice Man CAVE! Just did a big clean up on mine and can finally reach the tool box. Lawnmower's getting wet but who cares. Nice way to spend some down time in the winter months for sure.

thanks fellas. My shop is pretty small actually only 30 x 40. But it has an exhaust fan for sucking out fumes and paint and has a chain hoist. Think the previous owner might have worked on cars in here. Heated and comfy but small, big stuff has to stay outside
