There were some recent mentions of using Cool-Grind to lube grinding wheels for sharpening chain. Still on the lookout for some locally, although I may order some at some point.
Anyone know what is in that product or a product like Stick-Kut? Or how they compare (the stick-kut is much more expensive for some reason.).
Sometimes I use an old candle or similar wax stick to lube the wheel, and was wondering what is added to the commercial products to improve them. Just curious is all.
Anyone ever tried using a wax stick that contains honing compound or tripoli or the like? Probably would make a mess, but I think I'll try it for grins. Maybe not on my favorite wheel first, though.
