I'm developing a good market for 6-8 foot conifers in #10 to #15 pots. Up to now, I've used pots scavenged from other landscappers and nurseries, but I'm starting to run out.
A tree properly grown should have a fairly solid root ball. Is it reasonable to pull the tree from it's pot, wrap and pin it in burlap?
Is is reasonable to line the pot with burlap and plop the tree in the lined pot for it's final two years?
I've also been working with grow bags. What's your opinion on above ground grow-bag grown trees?
