Guidebar info needed.

I would like to run a 0.050 gauge 3/8 pitch guidbar and chain on a Stihl 084 chainsaw, problem is that the Stihl parts list here only shows the guidbars available in a 0.063 gauge.

Could someone please give me the stihl part number of the correct guidbar for this application - lenght - anything from a 20" to a 25" would do just fine, and a 0.050 gauge.

http://www.stihlusa.com/chainsaws/types.html scroll down you should find a few options. 084 IMO should run a full skip .404, .063, 28"-36" bar. Just my thought, any way you set it up, it is a great saw.

I took a bar for my 066 to the machine shop and in less than a half hour it matched my 084 and 075 perfectly. Now all my bigger saws run 3/8 X 50.
