When I showed up to work they had both the Lucas and a Woodmizer going. So....the nice thing about the CSM is that I could just take the 395xp and head out into the woods to cut more Ash and keep the mills busy.

I have 2 4'x24" Cherry logs waiting for me this week. Owner wants some thick pieces for a base guitar.

The Ash is all infected on this property so we are making use of it and getting plenty of firewood too.

We will use the Ash to finish the draft animal stalls, make wagon tongues and make the grain bins for the new granary.

Thanks for the pics!

I hate to say it but if I had access to a Lucas or a Woodmizer I don't think I would do much chainsaw milling at all  (I think I am frustrated with the speed or lack of speed with CS milling.):msp_unsure:

Unless I had some big ole pieces of wood like your cherry sounds like it is.

Please post some pictures when you get that milled up!
