vacation days or i'd lose them and i am bored as F#CK. nothing to do. only so many times you can go over your climbing kit, saws and all.

and on top of that the ol' lady washed my cell phone so i cant call any one to see if they want a few hours out of me.

yup kinda bored.

i did get the chance to set up my new rock dual ascender to my liking though. i got that at the NEgrows show along with the 3 holed pulley for my bridge. i forget the name of it though. i am going to like it i think. 3 points of attachment on a pulley on my bridge should be just right.

anyone within an hour of lawrence mass have any wood they need cut? i'll bring my saws and do it up for ya. i'm serious. lol

yup, bored

Yup....thumb twiddling...in between jobs.

Tried a new friction hitch setup with the cord I got from BB, I had to whip the eyes as I could see there was the potential for chafe in the crab and next to the micro pulley...
Repaired my 020 handle...
Fired up the new 260...

Ahh...tomorrow I get to teach soldiers for three days, we are going to play, 'the day after a category 3 hurricane'... with 260's, 290's and my 361.

alright.......came inside from trying to count how many actual peices of wood are in a cord and heard the landline ring.

who is it you ask? why its an old employer of mine and yes he'd love 8 hrs from me. nice.

wont be bored tomw!

bermie i heard about that cord you got from BB. what was the total dollar per inch cost of it? lol i hope you like it!

whats this about tomw's saw workshop with the boys?

Ha ha, out here in the boonies, we have to PAAYY!

I'm running a refresher course for the Bermuda Regiment, 5 warrant officers I trained in '04, we'll be reviewing maintenance, and ground operation including felling leaners and hung ups and I'll throw in a bit of windblow if I can find any.
The Regiment gets embodied in a national emergency, like after a hurricane, when they leave their guns in camp and head out with chainsaws and tarpaulins. They decided after a bad one in '03, and loads of close calls with the saws and guys climbing over fresh windblow that they better get certified...so that's what I do.

the valley

hey iam not even 20 min from law town. plenty of wood here to cut :) got to get started for next winter's selling season. Do you do tree work ? if so come across any logs for sale? iam looking to buy just about anything i can get my paws on with in reason. Also if you do tree work got a tree that needs to be taken down and chipped.
