Can't get anything past you guys! The machine isn't mine, unfortunately. However, it belongs to a good machinist friend of mine, and he is no slouch! I had the same question and he ensured me it was not an issue with <.001" runout. And, considering this is a chainsaw head, it is not precision by any means!

What's the project? I have to know!

If it all works out and starts, it's going to be my 4 cube hotsaw.

Less than .001? Not bad for a chuck. I would have run an indicator on it just for grins though.
