I just took 12 beams down from my 2nd floor in my barn. The antique wood barn dealer sells by the linear foot. At about $150-$250 a log 10', depending if 2 sided hew or 4 sided. I have mostly 2 sided with bark on other 2 sides. Would like to get rid of them as a group and must be picked up at your cost here in Ohio. Barn was dated 1880's. Most are 12'-13' long, 6"-8" thick, 6"-12" wide. PM me with offers or what you have in mind. The right saw talks too.

Take the right saw on trade. If you only want so many let me know what you are thinking. Trades?

Just thought I'd help someone out if they were looking for this sort of thing. You know fireplace mantle etc without having to pay the ridiculous price the dealers want for one piece of wood. Thats why. I can just let it sit there with no problems with room in this 70 foot barn. Like I stated also, I may try to get it planked out too.

Covering them up today. If anybody decides they need these down the rode just drop a PM. They've lasted 120+ years so far, so it shouldnt matter a few more years. Just rather help someone out, then let the high priced dealer get them and sell them.
