Back at the old Pennhurst Insane Asylum and making history as this year is the first year its been re-opened since it was shut down in 85 for morbide cruelty to humans.
A couple of friends of mine actually bought 200 acres of this place located along the Schulykill river in Spring City Pa. The are making mulch and this year they had gotten one of the buliding ready with the help of Bates haunted houses. They have about 10K come through every weekend at at least 25 bucks each. There was a long line when we got there, I was standing at the front door with VIP passes.

We had arrived a hour before dark and drove around the property taking pictures in daylight but I have put them up before, you can search Pennhurst here and also on the internet. Its cool.
Anyway these pics are from the haunted house put on by Bates Hotel.

This is cued up right before we went in. The tweens in front let us go in front when we got to the door.

And then Gene lit the fire. Gene was on the TV show. Its him and his brother doing it up there.

This was outside in one of the overgrown alleys of concrete, bet he loves his job. Remember rousting the girls cabin at camp?

yeah, that last pic was dark. Its a wretched sore mental patient chained to the wall waiting in the dark to scare the tweens. Hell, he would have had me.

Tons more pics and tons more to come but not allowed inside. The best park was the very long and very dark underground tunnels with the toothless bound freak rubbing up agaisnt you and the mad doctors with the pliers and electricity. I think they were keeping it tame for the tweens which I appreciate but a much scary version could be fun. The VIP passes sold for 50 but there is consdierable overhead, there was a band and 65 other people on payrole to handle the haunted house.

And Gene was saying how he is running outta stuff to make mulch with so the dump is free and they will take anything. I didn't pay 50 bucks a ticket, I didn't pay squat and I got a free hat.

I got my pos dirt bike ready to roll up there soon. Once the people are out i will be headed out to where they either buried or burnt the miserable wretches who endured years of torture and abuse from experimantal treatments and other related pleasantries.
