Has anyone built homemade vert/horz. splitter?

I built this horiz/vert last year. Pull 2 pins and the trays come off for verticle splitting. 17 H.P. Kohler 22gpm 2 stage pump 5x24 cylinder with 3/4 inch ports and rated for a constant 3000 psi working pressure. Control valve is 3/4 inch ports also.

I think that is literally the first splitter I've seen with a valve that doesn't require either a second person to operate or else leaning WAY over the engine and axle just to pull the :censored: thing....except for the recent one I can't find now using a chevy? rear axle and vertical shaft engine.

It is a pleasure to operate. Table height is 32'' if I remember right, and is just right for me. No, no leaning or twisting. Vertical will work you a little but I only quarter big rounds then finish up horizontally.
