has anyone used the eliet shredder

I heard it is self propelled, fits thru small gates. shreds limbs up to 5 1/2" X 20" wide. uses 24 knifes turning 3000 rpm. comes with hydraulic feed 16 hp engine, different screen sizes. seems like a great machine anything bigger can be cut into firewood. does anyone offer such a machine?

My local arborist shop has them. looks good for on site chip piles. there are a few models, the self propelled one supposedly takes up to 5" wood. there is a tracked version too. pricewise I think the larger models are near 13 to 15000$ up here in canuckian bucks.

I've used them,there a waste of money IMO,a friend has one it's new and has just broke down,i'd say there ok for shrubs and stuff but definitely not a tool for Arborists..

I have also used one unless your putting straight broom handle type pieces through you will struggle.

You have to go to http://www.elietmachines.com to choose your language.
4 languages are available: Dutch, French, English and German

Also, there are some very low resolution videos but not yet linked to the site. I don't know if they will add more videos or make new ones.
